You know we can't stay young forever but we can stay young for the rest of our days.

This is going to be a relatively simplistic post. I just feel like sharing is all, and with lots of pictures I hope.

I bought this today. If I'm honest I'm not sure what the point in it is. I've never had cuticle cream (although cream is completely the wrong word as it's a solid block like vaseline) but I've wanted something from Burt's Bees for ages and this was one of the cheapest items. I must confess I have no idea what I'm meant to do so I smeared some over my nails and finger ends. No real idea if that's right or not but it seemed like the best idea. However regardless of if I'm doing it right it smells fabulous! Like lemon curd. Very nommy.

Another brand that I've been tempted by in the past. You know how you just wonder if it's a better product because it's branded? Or if it just means that you are paying extra money for no reason. Anyway they had a miniature and so I thought I'd also try this. I hate having dry hands, always have. It bothers me so much. Now my hands are even worse because of all the cleaning I do at work. This stuff smells a bit like sun tan lotion and so it makes me think of summer. It also makes my hands nice and soft so it's a win for that. I also picked up a mini cocobutter moisturiser because that stuff is excellent but makes me crave chocolate. I'm hoping that it'll be useful to carry around being a smaller size... I really have too much body lotion etc. already but I love different brands and smells.

I'm contemplating these two pairs of shoes. I really like polkaspots at the moment and apparently these converse are navy (I am rather fond of dark blue right now as well, especially dark blue and silver as a combo) but as is the case with cons they are expensive (£45 from Amazon because schuh has run out of my size). I also already own four different pairs of converse but I like variation. I'm also quite liking these Rocket Dog shoes. It's weirding me out though because they're floral. Floral?! On shoes?! It's just a bit weird for me. So I'm debatey. The RDs are £35 from Schuh and are pretty. I also know that RDs are comfy like the cons so either pair will be wearable instantly. They look like summer shoes and I'm rather about summer right now.

I meant to pop to Windows (although it would be unlikely that I would actually end up spending money in there on such an item because they are hugely expensive but actually I was going to go in for other things and reasons and now won't be back in town until... ages now. Rubbish) and then probably head over to Fenwick toy department and pick up a cheap metal harmonica. I've been meaning to learn harmonica since I was about 5 and daddy gave me one of his old ones.
I have slight issues with learning it now because it seems to be overly popular right now as a fashion thing to have a harmonica (I do have a mini harmonica necklace somewhere too because I'm cool like that although there is a fabulous one in Accessorize which is in dark blue and I kind of want it because it's so pretty but also £12), like the ukulele was... which I sadly also owned one from an early age (inadvertently a prehipster).
There's just something awesome about harmonica and I love the way daddy plays his so I keep meaning to buy one but do I buy a chromatic or a keyed one and if I choose to go with a keyed then which key do I choose? Argh! And they're sadly not very cheap anymore. Although comparatively to a classical instrument they're obviously in a different league :P

I now think I'm going to attempt to tidy my room because Anna-chan is coming over tomorrow and it's still a mess and then I'm going to paint my nails blue and silver because awesome colours.

Or I'll just sit on the Internet and "window shop" on harmonicas, purses (I want a new one and seriously can't find one I like. Spent a couple of hours just trying to find one... sadface), pokemon cards (I just got paid so celebrations!) and other wonderful things.

I really like shopping :D also life is currently very awesome :3

You sing the words but still don't know what it means

So the cold is now in full swing, which is a shame because I've just bought a nice new hat and would love to show it to you guys but I have unkempt hair and look terrible so maybe later. It is a pretty cool hat though =D there will be a photo up soon enough when I don't feel like my nose is five times larger than normal and stuff.

I could just give you a picture of someone else wearing the hat or just the hat itself but that's not the same so I won't and you will have to wait... not like it will really make that much difference but oooh suspense =p

I also got post this morning (yay =D) and as we all know, I LOVE GETTING POST! Yes it was from amazon and yes I was expecting it but that doesn't make it any less awesome! So inside this package was:
  • Wrist weights: 0.5kg each. Starting off lightest so that I don't wreck my body or anything. They're cute in sky blue and grey and by Reebok. Just something to build up some upper body strength.
  • Two books: Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray and Rachel Vincent's Rogue (second in the Shifters (werecats) series).
I'm still waiting on three (I think) cds so that's nice and will be a nice surprise when it gets here =D

My Chemical Romance L-R
I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love
Three Cheers For Sweet Romance

Ok a double whammy because I listened to them both whilst trying not to die of illness. There is an easy way to sum up this: I don't care that much for the earlier MCR. In fact we have a progression! IBYMBblahblahblah is pretty meh to me and Three Cheers has some pretty good tracks on it but isn't as consistent for me as their two more recent albums. The tracks I like are, unsurprisingly, mostly released singles. The sound isn't very different, they just haven't quite worked out what they were doing at that point. I know, I know to the "real" fans they "sold out" with Black Parade but I stand by that they did a really good job on it. They made lots of fans, lots of records and lots of money. Who cares if that seems to be the logic of the words "sell out"? They probably enjoyed making all their albums or else why bother on doing it?
Whoops being argumentative... my bad.

25&26/100 (respectively)
I feel bad giving a three star rating but it really was a meh album for me. =\

'Til next time

Buying stuff is really the best therapy, except when you run out of money

I keep going shopping and it's terrible... terribly wonderful! I've been spending too much but it's fine because it feels good. £40 on CSI, win! especially when it's £5 per half season. That's like 4 whole seasons! Nothing can be wrong with that!
I bought a new bag. Not the one on my wishlist because it didn't have a zip on it and I don't know how I feel about that. Doesn't it mean everything in your bag gets wet when it rains, and seeing as it rains a lot in this country then surely that's a really bad thing! BUT the bag did come from River Island and I feel very grown up with it. I want to use it aaaaaall the time but then it would break and I would be sads. Especially as it was £25. £25?! That's loads! I don't spend this much normally but I've had a major splurge recently, whoops! I keep seeming to trip over and my card goes into the machine and then I fall over on the buttons and accidently press my pin and enter =D

I can't spend much more this month though, except I'm going out tomorrow night which will be divine because dancing will ensue and I really love dancing. I must make sure I remember to pack everything tonight otherwise I will leave something behind when I run for my 8am bus tomorrow ¬¬ I hate early starts.

Another cd review because I have no life and quite enjoy listening rather critically to my music.

Bleach Soundtrack Volume III

Yes it's a little different to what I have covered so far but I listen to a fair few soundtracks so they were bound to rear their heads at some point or another. This, for those of you who know the anime, is from the arrancar arc. The music is heavily influenced with Spanish music because for some reason the arrancars (in this case the baddies, mostly) are numbered in Spanish and that's kind of their thing. Half of the tracks on this album are really really good because I love those spanish guitar bits with strings and brass. It's actually really nice and energetic but then, like a lot of mainstream anime it has to have "silly" music for the bits of the anime where they act stupid or someone does something daft. It's actually annoying. I want a full album of the good stuff thanks but I guess if that were the case I would listen to a full album of Spanish music by some Spanish dude instead.

Rating
It's a confused three stars because I honestly don't know how to rate this album. Some of them are so good and some of them are so bad in my opinion but three stars to me implies an average album, kinda bland, not a wildly varied in ratings album but it will have to do.

Put the purse on the ground and step away slowly

I've been shopping =D and it was the most wonderful of things! It was also wonderful because I was with three lovely people; Blue, Hannahan and Nickm. Us girls spent a wee bit of money in HMV mostly on their 2 for £10 offer which was divine (Blue spend the most!). I have now acquired:
  • You Me At Six - Take Off Your Colours (Deluxe Ed.)
  • Joshua Radin - Simple Times
  • Pendulum - Immersion
  • Muse - H.A.A.R.P
  • Deadmau5 - 4x4=12 (Limited ed. with mini collectable)
The mini Deadmau5 fella is soooo cute! I just had to buy it, even though it was at full price. it was just too cute! There were apparently 2 designs but I really like the one I have (all black with pink mouth and eyes).
Then Blue and I went and got piercings. I've got a third cartilage on my left side now. It's a reprint of one that was there before but a bit lower and just generally in a nicer place. Hopefully it'll stay this time.
Then I trotted off to Paperchase and River Island with Nickm while Blue and Hannahan waited for Hannahan's tattoo (she had to wait a while). I love sales! bought a divine shirt from RI and two tops I've been looking for that are high-necks. Some cold packs from PChase and a couple of those handwarmers you can get in the shape of hearts. =3

ONWARDS! It is wednesday so here is the wishlist of today (or moreover just things that I think are really cute and I wouldn't mind owning or just generally things that are lovely!) :

Disaster Designs. They're just too cute =3

Sigma 105/2.8 macro lens. It's my next intended purchase for my camera. It's lovely to shoot with and is a really good brand.

Tare Panda plushies. I really love pandas and these guys are just really cute.

I want this bag. It's from River Island and I might go out and buy it if not today then soon. £27 but if it fits my camera then it will be a definite purchase. If it doesn't then it just was not meant to be!

Four things today... I haven't really thought too much about these things so it will probably be better next week =)

Aaaand another review! Mostly because I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment.

Deadmau5: 4x4=12
These guys are really interesting I think. It's dance/electronica music essentially and I don't usually listen to that much but it's done in a way that I actually like. I'm not as fussed by the songs with Sofia Toufa on them but that's because I don't really like her voice that much. It's too in your face. The opening to Right This Second is actually woah! It's just... really good. In fact I really like that track a lot. It's probably my favourite on the album. It is definitely more an album that I would listen to bits of than all at the same time but it is still very good =)

Rating times:
3/100

And no I'm not just rating everything four stars! It's just that's what they have been so far =)
Sorry for the really long post but I like chatting to myself on here =D it's therapeutic and whatnot
